Colors
and Materials
Many materials are available for use in the monument manufacturing process.
Granite has evolved as the favorite for its durability and weathering capabilities. Marble is still a choice and offers a look of yesteryear for
those desiring to match an older, existing marker or monument, or for those searching for that different look.
Limestone, from the Bedford region of southern Indiana, is another material that is still today. Although a softer, less durable stone than granite,
limestone remains an option for our clients seeking a very different look in a monument.
Standard Colors
Granite comes in a wide range of colors. Most, however, could be placed in one of three primary color groups: gray, red, and black.
Specialty
Colors
There are a variety of imported, more exotic colors, such as varying shades of green, blue, purple, tan, etc. These colors are
gaining popularity.
